Royal William Yard is a Grade I listed collection of historic military buildings, shops, eateries, and a bed and breakfast. It was built between 1825 and 1831 and has the largest collection of Grade I Listed military buildings in Europe.

The Martin Street car park is a little closer to the city centre and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It has a 2-metre height restriction and will cost the following to use:

• £1.20 for up to one hour
• £2.40 for up to two hours
• £3.60 for up to three hours
• £4 for up to 24 hours
