The Holst Birthplace Museum is dedicated to composer Gustav Holst, and is situated within the terraced Regency house where he was born in 1874. The piano on which he composed his famous orchestral suite The Planets is on show, as are several of his manuscripts. The museum also recreates life inside a smaller Regency home throughout the decades, and runs a variety of workshops and interactive days out for children to learn more about Holst’s life and times.
