Q: Before interviewing, had you ever heard of YourParkingSpace? (Be honest!)

A: No I hadn’t! I don’t drive so it wasn’t something I had ever interacted with.

Q: What was your perception of the parking industry before working here?

A: I didn’t even realise a parking industry existed! And I had no idea how fun it would be to be a part of!

Q: How was your welcome to the team/first days?

A: Everyone within the business is very welcoming and happy to share knowledge and help when needed. I remember feeling so nervous coming in as I had no previous experience with parking, but everyone was more than happy to help.

Q: What’s it like to work at YourParkingSpace?

A: Working at YourParkingSpace is just so much fun! We work really hard as a collective team, and celebrate all our success together too! Working here gives you the space and tools to really expand and make your job role your own, something that is not always available in other working environments.

Q: Learning & Development at YourParkingSpace, why is it important?

A: YourParkingSpace is a very dynamic company. Things are always changing and evolving, and so is the knowledge that the team requires. Learning and development really helps to capture these changes and ensue the whole team is onboard.

Q: How has your role evolved since you joined YourParkingSpace?

A: My role has changed massively! When first joining, I worked within the Customer Care team focusing on creating a training plan specifically for them. Since then, I have expanded into the wider business, it is lots of fun!

Q: What do you think is the most rewarding thing in your role?

A: The most rewarding part of my role is definitely watching projects come to life. Working on a project, and then watching the impact it has is the most gratifying part of my job.

Q: How do you feel about your personal growth in the company?

A: Joining YourParkingSpace and being given the freedom to shape and mould my role has really helped me to grow in confidence both within the workplace and outside of it.
