Would definitely not recommend this parking site..... Initially very hard to find as not clearly marked. Secondly it is not lit nor secured or patrolled. I tried to contact the operator to no avail on 2 occasions as it wasn't clear if I had a space allocated....seeing as there was no management system in place and was on a first come first served basis my booking of a parking space was irrelevant. In the end i was parked there for only 30 minutes, at most, as i didn't feel my car would still be there in the morning. I spoke to my hotel whom advised me to not park there and to utilise a well lit secured and patrolled carpark, which was actually cheaper, only a further 100mtrs away. Sorry but i would most definetly NOT on any circumstance recommend this parking site. Especially if arriving at night....

It's a good parking space about 10 minutes from the Hippodrome. And when you leave it is easy to get out and back onto the main roads. It is manned during the morning, but it isn't manned the full 24 hours. As long as you are sensible and don't leave valuables on show you should be OK. Some CCTV covers limited parts of the car park. This area in Birmingham is OK. You shouldn't get random acts of damage or theft as it is a fenced off area slightly off the main street, but if someone is determined to break into your car in the late evening there is no real deterrent. A note about booking though: booking through the website does not guarantee a parking space at all. I turned up to a full car park. Luckily after a few minutes someone left so I managed to grab a space, but don't automatically expect a space saved for you. And the price on turn-up was the same, so I question the value of booking through the website. All-in-all, it did the job. If you want a higher level of security and are willing to pay the price, consider a manned car park like the Arcadian. But some reviews say you can struggle to get out after a big event.

I've parked here for a 2nd year in a row (for a work conference) and have never had any problems. People have mentioned it's a bit tricky to find, but I've never had any issues after first checking the photos here and on Google maps and getting a feel for how it appears from the street. Once parked you have to walk about a block through dodgy streets (a few sex shops) to get to the Bull Ring and inner city, so I wouldn't recommend it for women of a nervous disposition after dark. But the price is amazingly cheap: my 4 day fee was the equivalent of 1 day's parking charge in any other city parking station or lot.
