The Ninewells Community Garden is located across from the hospital, and is run by volunteers for the community to use 7 days a week. Right beside it is the RRS Discovery, a visitor attraction which tells the story of Captain Scott and his ship, the ‘Discovery’.

By Train: The Dundee train station is right in the city centre, and services the Caledonian Sleeper, CrossCountry, LNER and ScotRail lines. The Invergowrie train station is a 20-minute walk from the hospital and services the ScotRail line.
