Scarborough SEA LIFE Sanctuary is hugely popular with visitors to the area, but it’s a permanent home for five lively seals: Bruno, Pendal, Ed, Herbie and Mando. These five wouldn’t survive in the wild due to various health conditions, but the Sanctuary also rescues over 30 injured seal pups each year and rehabilitates them until they’re ready to be released back to a colony. Guests can pop in on the animal hospital to see how they’re getting on.
