Woking is a town that's located in Surrey, south west of London. It is officially part of the London commuter belt, with fast trains into London Waterloo taking only 24 minutes.

In terms of landmarks, the town is home to a Wellsian Martian Tripod celebrating H. G. Wells's book, The War of the Worlds, as the book was written in Woking. There are two shopping centres - The Peacocks and Wolsey Place - and the town is also home to The Lightbox, an arts and heritage centre.
