Information about parking in Greenhous meadow
Greenhous Meadow, previously known as the New Meadow, was built to replace the New Meadow stadium in 2007. The closest train station to the ground is Shrewsbury and is just over two miles from the stadium, taking rounghly 40 minutes to walk to the ground. Parking in the area is largely reserved for permit holders and residents, so it is wise to pre-book parking to secure cheaper guaranteed parking close to Greenhous Meadow.

Easy to find and easy to get out after the match.good communication from the guy who owns it.Simon Wolfie
Easy to find, although on busy main road so can be hard to pull into if coming from wrong direction. However mandeep is a lovely owner and very helpful. A must book if you need parking near Wolverhampton. About a 20 minute walk away, however a taxi cost me around £5.Ian
Large and easily accessible space - absolutely no issues with the space itself. I would only mention that it is necessary to contact the owner to establish exactly where the space is located as it is not obvious from the map on the website or Google Earth - the owner could save herself some admin hassle by providing more details on the website. Having said this, when I asked for more precise details she texted back with good directions, so, again, no problems here. So I definitely recommend this space, but you will need to ask for directions unless the web description is made more precise.Derek
I booked a space within 2 minutes of a commercial car park at less than half the commercial rate. The space was in a private car park and so was secure and safe. I needed an entry code to open the security gate to the parking area but a quick call to the owner sorted this. The space was a little tight but perfectly usable, even with my large rented SUV. In fact the experience was so painless that I booked the same space again 2 weeks later and will do the same in the next couple of weeks when I need to make the same journey. Great for savings, convenience and security, and a great way to send a message to rip-off "commercial" car parking firms that "uber" -style internet connectability will soon see an end to their disgraceful monopoly and outrageous rates. Way to go!Derek
