Swansea City moved into the Liberty Stadium in 2005, having spent the previous 93 years at Vetch Field. The club were founded as Swansea Town in 1912 but changed their name in 1969 to Swansea City, to reflect Swansea becoming a city. They were the first Welsh team to play in the Premier League and also the first Welsh team to win the Capital One Cup. This made them the first non-English team to win a major cup since Cardiff City won the FA Cup in 1927.
Swansea Railway Station, providing services to London Paddington, is the nearest station to the ground and is located roughly 2 miles from the Liberty Stadium. Due to the distance, it can take over half an hour to walk. Car parking at the stadium is for permit card holders only and resident only parking is in operation in the immediate vicinity. There is a park and ride facility located some distance from the stadium. To guarantee your parking space, the easiest and cheapest method is to pre-book a parking space near the stadium.
There is a Harvester and Frankie & Benny’s located near the ground that are good, family friendly venues for pre-match food or drinks. Otherwise, it is best to head into the city centre. There are also a number of exciting attractions in the centre including Swansea Museum, The National Waterfront Museum, and the birthplace of Dylan Thomas.

Communication was fast and effective, permit was readily available. A relatively short (circa 20 minutes) 'one-road' walk to reach Principality stadium meant it served my needs perfectly. Thanks Dave !Vinny
Perfect location in quiet residential street 5 min walk to Cardiff City Stadium and convenient for links into City Centre. Selected where to park, collected Parking permit from David and off we went! Couldn’t be easier! Brilliant location for Cardiff City Football games; back on M4 20 mins after final whistle.Stuart
Private house driveway (large enough for a minibus in our case) tucked at the back of a nice private housing estate - Super easy walk to football stadium and great position to then drive out for M4 again Many thanksArran

David was absolutely fantastic and went abov3 and beyond; I missed the email from him telling me to pick up his permit, he put a note on my window to direct the ticket warden to his house for the permit, will definitely use again, thank you!John
Excellent parking friendly resident always willing to help. Will definitely use again.Kelly
Easy to find and perfect for CCFC stadium.Fabrizio
The spot is close to the City stadium and easy to find, so convenient. It is a tight fit so not suitable for large cars. Good for medium size 4*4. There is a protruding block a the entrance which damaged the under-tray of my car, which as a sports car has a low ride height. . That block should be repaired or filled in.Patrick
Nice safe road, handy location, especially for the hospital/university. Owner good at texting/communicating too which is helpful.Michael
Easy to book, easy to pay. Got a space just where we needed it, a few minutes walk from Cardiff City Stadium. Owner responded to a message I sent within a couple of hours with info I needed . Easy to find and easy to get away after the match. Overall: Perfect.Philip
