Swansea City moved into the Liberty Stadium in 2005, having spent the previous 93 years at Vetch Field. The club were founded as Swansea Town in 1912 but changed their name in 1969 to Swansea City, to reflect Swansea becoming a city. They were the first Welsh team to play in the Premier League and also the first Welsh team to win the Capital One Cup. This made them the first non-English team to win a major cup since Cardiff City won the FA Cup in 1927.
Swansea Railway Station, providing services to London Paddington, is the nearest station to the ground and is located roughly 2 miles from the Liberty Stadium. Due to the distance, it can take over half an hour to walk. Car parking at the stadium is for permit card holders only and resident only parking is in operation in the immediate vicinity. There is a park and ride facility located some distance from the stadium. To guarantee your parking space, the easiest and cheapest method is to pre-book a parking space near the stadium.
There is a Harvester and Frankie & Benny’s located near the ground that are good, family friendly venues for pre-match food or drinks. Otherwise, it is best to head into the city centre. There are also a number of exciting attractions in the centre including Swansea Museum, The National Waterfront Museum, and the birthplace of Dylan Thomas.

Simple instructions . About 15 minute walk to the Principality Stadium but nice and easy to get out after the match . The owner was very helpful and would recommendBrent
The instructions said to park in bay 14/15/16. Although cars with the same instructions seemed to be parked in bays 12 and 13. Good place close to the Center.Tony
No problems at all. Easy to find, easy to park my large 8 seat Toyota and close to the stadium. All the booking procedures and smoothly and easily, will definitely use againDONALD
Good value. Great location. Will definitely use the service again.Mark
We booked a space knowing it could be a nightmare looking for a car park, was told in a email to park in either 15 16 or 17 as a choice fore spaces, but when we arrived there were cars already in those bays, which made us leave the car near where we were told to park at the risk of getting a fine or being clamped, although this wasn’t the case it still made us feel uneasy leaving the car.Owen
Easy to find and well placed for Cardiff central. Would definitely use again. Easy to find, well placed for both the Stadium and Cardiff central. Helpful owner. Will definitely use again when in Cardiff.Kirwyn
Upon arrival the security gates were closed, as I had not been given the code I had to wait for someone to drive out, I then nipped in behind them. Found the parking space without any problem but upon leaving all cars were prevented from leaving by Cardiff City stewards, eventually left at 5.30.Malcolm
Parking space itself is good, spacious and seems in a safe area. There are two ways to get to the space, one (the way the satnav took us) is VERY tight, the other is fine (the way we left). This should have been advertised! Additionally there was a car parked very inconsiderately in the way of the space, we got in but only because the neighboring car wasn't there. Won't be returning.Simon
Excellent parking spot. Convenient for the city centre. Well worth the money.Paul
Very easy to find and really good walking distance from city centre!Jamie
