When you’re returning from your cruise, you can call the number on your booking confirmation email to be sent a taxi which will take you back to the Triangle Car Park. When you leave the park in your car, the automatic number plate recognition system will recognise your car and lift the barrier at the exit.

The SeaCity Museum tells the story of Southampton’s maritime history. It has exhibitions about the port of Southampton and the general history of the city, as well as an exhibition about the Titanic. The ship set sail from Southampton in 19129, and the majority of the crew on board was from Southampton. When she sank, more than 500 households lost a family member. In the park nearby, you’ll find the Titanic Engineers' Memorial. 

Beside the museum is the Southampton City Art Gallery, which currently has over 5,300 works and is still growing. The foundation for the building was laid out in 1911 and it opened in 1939, before being damaged during the Second World War and closing again until 1946. The gallery has work from over six centuries of European art history and offers events like monthly art clubs.  

Southampton Common is the largest open space in the city, stretching over 365 acres. It was first mentioned in a written record back in 1228, although it is possible that it dates back to the town of Hamwic around 500AD. The common was designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1998 thanks to its diverse wildlife. It hosts a huge range of events, such as fairs, marathons, circuses, music, and shows.

By Train: The Southampton train station is a 25-minute walk away and services the CrossCountry, G W R, South Western Railway, and Southern lines.
