St James Park Parking
Information about Parking in St James Park
St James Park is the home of Newcastle United FC, often simply called NUFC or The Magpies due to their black and white signature kit. It has been the home of NUFC since 1892, the entirety of their history. Throughout their history, they have won four League Championships titles and six FA Cups.
Though there is parking near the stadium the ground can get very busy, with over 50,000 visitors expected at any home game. This means it is recommended to book your parking space in advance, guaranteeing a space that is often cheaper and easier to find. Newcastle Central Railway Station is roughly a 15-minute walk from St James Park.
The stadium is located in the very centre of Newcastle. This means there is a great variety of distractions for pre and post-match entertainment. The main pubs favoured by away fans are The Lounge, O’Neil’s, and A Head of Steam. There are also some great attractions in new castle to visit, such as Newcastle Castle, The Angel North, and Discovery Museum.
Postcode is satnav: NE1 4ST

Parking on Close Quayside, NE1
Easy to get to and in a prime location for the heart of the Quayside, five mins walk away. The Copthorne car park felt secure, my car was undercover and there were security cameras to watch over it. I was in Newcastle for five days and needed to car daily. Just get the ticket validated at reception and away you go. Collect another ticket at reception when you come back. Value for money and peace of mind.

Parking on Fenkle St, NE1
Easy to find using sat nav, we have a Ford custom and wouldn’t have fit in the under ground car park. Luckily we called the hotel that has access and they also have an over ground Parker we’re able to use. It was limited spaces but managed to squeeze; by squeeze I mean literally, the spaces aren’t huge. Camera operated 24/7 and super central. Couldn’t fault!
