St James Park Parking
Information about Parking in St James Park
St James Park is the home of Newcastle United FC, often simply called NUFC or The Magpies due to their black and white signature kit. It has been the home of NUFC since 1892, the entirety of their history. Throughout their history, they have won four League Championships titles and six FA Cups.
Though there is parking near the stadium the ground can get very busy, with over 50,000 visitors expected at any home game. This means it is recommended to book your parking space in advance, guaranteeing a space that is often cheaper and easier to find. Newcastle Central Railway Station is roughly a 15-minute walk from St James Park.
The stadium is located in the very centre of Newcastle. This means there is a great variety of distractions for pre and post-match entertainment. The main pubs favoured by away fans are The Lounge, O’Neil’s, and A Head of Steam. There are also some great attractions in new castle to visit, such as Newcastle Castle, The Angel North, and Discovery Museum.

Plenty of spaces and good locationSarah
So easy to find and love the automatic lighting. I do have a small car so good for me but might not be so handy for big cars as lots of columns making spaces tight. Very central!Suzanne
Easy to find, adequate space in bays. Will use this space again.Suzie
Very easy to book online. The car park was easy to find too. No problems whatsoever!Anne
Easy to find, affordable and safe parking. I arrived at 9pm (out of hours) and was told to park in the 24hr access car park, which is sign posted for deliveries, but is actually where you park out of hours for reference. Left my car for 2 days and had no problems.Rio
Nice area for a long and short stay. Easily accessible to the train station and the town centre and really affordable too.Victoria
Easy and convenientDaniel
Booking up with yourparkingspace was very easy and the parking service we received was very good and value for money. However just a little problem I encountered was that I received a code to enter the parking which worked fine but exiting the parking was a little more challenging as I presumed to exit the car park I would use the door marked reception however after 10 minutes I realised there was no one coming so I decided to walk up the road to the electronic gates with my 6 year old who kept on asking why we were walking on the road. I punched in the code several times but nothing happened so we went back to the reception door but again no answer so not wanting to spend a night in the car park I decided to lift our baggage, the 6 year old and proceeded to climb over the wall. In the morning when I collected the car there was a very small notice on the key pad which had a code on to exit. I still feel it was very good value for money and easy enough to park. A little bit more instruction would have helped but the parking is still worth 4 stars and I will use this car park again. Thank youJohn
