Bramall Lane Parking
Information about Parking in Bramall Lane
Bramall Lane, home to Sheffield United, is widely recognised as the oldest football stadium in the UK and was opened in 1855. Sheffield United, nicknamed The Blades because of the cities historic links to the steel industry, have played on the ground since 1889. Brian Deane is attributed with scoring the first English Premiership goal while playing for The Blades in 1992. Today, the stadium can see over 30,000 supporters walk through its gates on any given match day. This can put pressure on parking near the stadium, making it much easier and cheaper to prebook a guaranteed parking space.
It is roughly a 20-minute walk to the ground from Sheffield Train Station, which represents the only station a realistic option to walk to the ground. The station provides connections to multiple cities across the UK including Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, and London St Pancras International. We have a number of cheaper, guaranteed parking spaces located across the city, with many near Sheffield United's stadium.
While pubs close to the ground tend to be reserved for home fans only, there are a number of pubs suitable for away fans close to the ground. The Sheaf Island is a Weatherspoon’s located roughly 10 minutes away, while The Devonshire Cat is also a popular location for away fans. There are also a variety of restaurants and bars located in the city centre, which is within walking distance of the ground.

Parking on Castle Croft Drive, S2
I used this parking spot for a concert I was attending at the O2 Academy. Very easy to find from the M1. The spot was more than adequate for my 4 door saloon and the area felt safe. It was an easy 10 minute walk tops to the Academy through the railway station which also meant a nice quick getaway after the concert as I wasn't queuing to get out of a multi- storey car park. I messaged the owner of the space straight after booking and received a very friendly, informative reply straight after putting me at ease. I would 100% recommend this space and would definitely use it again.

Parking on Lee Croft, S1
Easy to use and helps me find car parks that are at a good price and easy to change times at any point when needed. So will be using again as Sheffield City Centre is a nightmare to drive around looking for parking spaces. Do bare in mind sometimes parking spaces are not that easy to find but depends on time of day I suppose

Firstly, I would recommend comparing the costs between using YPS and the primary car park operator APCOA. in connection with Football at Bramall Lane, I've often used the car park with the normal arrangement of paying on exit having scanned the token to benefit from from the "football discount" and paid of the order of £6 from memory . This is the 2nd occasion I've booked through YPS. This time it was significantly more (£8.75+)than when I've used it a few weeks ago(£4 albeit for a Friday night) In terms of the facility, all seemed fine having learned about the YPS checking out process on that previous visit. However, unlike last time, having pressed the "Help" button as specified, the lady who eventually answered appeared not to to be conversant with the YPS process. I gave her my Booking ID but she then then asked for my name, told me to leave my token on top of the box whereupon she lifted the barrier for me to exit. I hope there's not a "fine" in the post!
