Bramall Lane Parking
Information about Parking in Bramall Lane
Bramall Lane, home to Sheffield United, is widely recognised as the oldest football stadium in the UK and was opened in 1855. Sheffield United, nicknamed The Blades because of the cities historic links to the steel industry, have played on the ground since 1889. Brian Deane is attributed with scoring the first English Premiership goal while playing for The Blades in 1992. Today, the stadium can see over 30,000 supporters walk through its gates on any given match day. This can put pressure on parking near the stadium, making it much easier and cheaper to prebook a guaranteed parking space.
It is roughly a 20-minute walk to the ground from Sheffield Train Station, which represents the only station a realistic option to walk to the ground. The station provides connections to multiple cities across the UK including Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, and London St Pancras International. A little bit confusing on leaving. You don't need to put the token in the pay machine. Just proceed to the barrier insert token and press the assistance button. You then have to give the operator your booking reference and the barrier will be raised for you. Overall a good experience and good value. I will use againSteven

Worked great, thanks very much!Matthew
Very nice and clean car park. It was well lit and the spaces were a proper size allowing ones car doors to be opened easily. We struggled a bit to get the barcode needed for the exiting procedure through Google. When I used my email to login, we got what we needed. When using the machine to ‘checkout’, it was not obvious that we needed to scan the barcode, as the machine didn’t tell us it was ready to scan it. It was also not obvious where to show the barcode to the machine either. Anyway, after a bit of fiddling we got it sorted out. Now that I know what to do, it will be easier next time. Might I suggest that the ticket machine has a caption that tells the ticket holder it is ready for the barcode scan. Another label on the machine to show where the scanner is would be helpful too. If you can’t get your barcode sorted out, you’ll have to pay again to get your car out!Julian
Easy, good value and Atkinson’s department store is good too.Karen franklin
The car park was very secure, we were a little surprised when we arrived to see shutters down and it was not immediately obvious that we just needed to approach the entrance so that the camera could read our registration plate. When we did the doors opened. The bar code needed to access by foot was reassuring. We were staying in the hotel next door and the easiest access was from the top floor as the ground floor pedestrian access required a walk through an office park as a fence had been erected preventing direct access.Michael
