The Exhibition Centre train station is situated on the Argyle Line and there are regular services running from Glasgow Central and Partick stations. There is a covered walkway that you can take from the station to the SEC. From there, you walk past the Crowne Plaza hotel and over the river to the Glasgow Science Centre. It should take between 5 to 10 minutes.
The Glasgow Science Centre is served by several bus routes, including Stagecoach X19, First Bus No 90, and McGill’s Bus 23 and 26. You can also hop off the Glasgow Sightseeing Bus at the SEC, which is stop 11, and cross the river on foot.
If you are travelling to the Glasgow Science Centre by bicycle, it is close to the National Cycle Route 7 and there are cycle stands located in the car park close to the entrance of the museum.
The nearest subway station is Cessnock. To get to the Glasgow Science Centre, exit the station and turn left. Then turn right on to Brand Street and then left on to Lorne Street. Turn left on to Pacific Drive and the entrance to the Glasgow Science Centre is at the roundabout. It is about a 20 to 25 minute walk.
