Rent a Principality Stadium Parking Space
The Principality Stadium, previously known as Millennium Stadium, is located in Cardiff and is the national stadium of Wales. It is currently named as The Principality Stadium as a result of a sponsorship deal with the Principality Building Society. The ground has hosted a wide range of football, welsh rugby union, and music events, such as the rugby world cup, FA Cup and League Cup over the years and it remains a popular venue.
It was first opened in 1999 and has a capacity of almost 75,000. It was originally built in order to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup and up to date it has also hosted 6 FA Cup finals as an alternative to Wembley Stadium while it was being updated.
The Principality Stadium is located roughly 5 minutes from Cardiff Central Railway Station, which provides services to London, Manchester and Bristol. The stadium provides event parking, but it can get incredibly busy in the hours leading up to the event, meaning it is easier and quicker to book your parking space prior to visiting. This will guarantee a space upon arrival so you do not miss out on seeing your rugby team in action.
The most straightforward and cost effective way to secure a parking space close to the stadium is to check out what is available on YourParkingSpace. We have a range of spaces within walking distance and if you check out our prices you will find that we offer very reasonable parking. In fact, once you have tried us out, you will wonder why you hadn’t booked a private space before.
For pre-match activities, food, or drinks it is best to visit the city centre, here you will find a plethora of restaurants, bars and shopping centres to enjoy. There are also some fantastic tourist attractions, such as Cardiff Castle, The National Museum Cardiff, and St Fagans National History Museum if you have a little time to spare before the event.

My sat Nav took me to what appeared a dead end but on closer inspection, the car park space was 1 of 4 behind the railings and a locked gate on the left behind the church. As we had come to Cardiff for a concert, I rang the owner to see if the space was safe to stay in past the 23.30 I had booked. I rang the number provided as contact on my info and found the owner helpful and courteous. The location is very good for walking to principality stadium (approx 8 mins) and motorpoint (approx 18 mins). I found it very useful to use my sat nav feature on my phone to find the space on walking back! Although the space was perhaps economic to get into, my car was ok as it's got a shorter front. This space was very reasonably priced, good for getting back on the M4 and far more secure than parking on the road and I will definately use again.Angela
The parking space is ideally placed for access to the Principality stadium and the city centre. If you are not familiar with the city centre then a SatNav is a great help in guiding you to the car park. We were met on arrival and guided to our parking spot, which was well suited for minibus parking. I would park there again.Stephen
Great secure parking near city centre. Used it for a Rugby International, about a mile from stadium. A lot less traffic after the match leaving this location. Will definitely be using again.Brynley
Could not find the space at all, so didn't end up parking there.Sasha
Great location for visiting Cardiff City stadium. Easy walking distance to ground and easy enough to get away after the game. Good, friendly communication from owner. Only downside is the driveway is small. My BMW 1 series just about squeezed onto the drive. Anything bigger than that will struggle. Note: it's not the driveway pictured.Bryn
Ideally situated for the town centre, it would benefit from lighting on these dark winter evenings.Malcom
excellent place to find and park 10minute walk to event at stadium easy to leave Cardiff after eventWayne
Good spot to park close to the city centre easy to find and in a church.Tony
No problems finding the space using my phone, though it did take me through the city, despite having shown a route via the A48. I ignored it on the return journey, taking the advice of a local and turning right away from the city centre which proved to be much easier. I was attending a game at the Cardiff City Stadium and the space was ideal for that though pedestrian traffic was building up by the time I got away. The space if just outside the match day closure area and was an easy walk - allow 15 minutes to the away end - to the stadium. The space is approached through a gate so you need to take note of the size restriction. With my Yaris I had to be careful not to knock the side mirror, so with a medium car you will need to jiggle about a bit! Having said that, I found it wasy to park and easy to get away after the game which, when you've lost, is quite important :-)David
Absolutely great. Will definitely be here again!Robert
