The Millennium Gallery is an art gallery and museum opened in 2001 as part of Sheffield’s Heart of the City regeneration project. The gallery holds two permanent collections: the Ruskin Collection, which was established by John Ruskin in 1875 with the aim of inspiring Sheffield’s workforce through pieces including watercolours, drawings, plaster casts and coins, and the Metalwork Collection, which shows cutlery, bowls and pots from Sheffield and around the world.
