  • Parking on Mandela Way, SO15

This is going to be my place now for parking when going to London or even Southampton in general. Excellent Secure as in a cul de sac and houses all around it, More important- I felt safe walking from Southampton central station on my own to the parking space at 1.00 in the morning from returning from London 1 ( over the station footbridge)when you return from London NOTE: SUITABLE ONLY FOR SMALL CARS - I HAVE A MINI ROADSTER AND IT JUST ABOUT FITTED TO BE ABLE TO OPEN THE DRIVER DOOR TO GET OUT. Syad is a great guy - I turned up 1/2 hr early as not sure where it was or how to get to station - it is literally a 5 min walk.

Did'nt use the space in the end as the appointment was cancelled at the last minute. Whole process worked like clockwork so I am sure all would have been right.

We needed parking for 2 nights near to the cruise terminals. The parking at Holiday Inn was ideal and very good value. It was a 20 minute walk to the Mayflower P & O terminal. The staff in the hotel were helpful and willing to order us a taxi had we required it.
