The Met Hotel Leeds is a 4-star hotel located on King Street in the Leeds city centre. It opened in the late 1800s and is known for its beautiful terracotta exterior. Leeds City Museum has six galleries and a programme of exhibitions, including Life on Earth, The Leeds Story, Ancient Worlds, and Special Exhibition: Fast x Slow Fashion. The museum hosts two changing exhibitions per year, as well as a range of events to interest people of all ages. 

The First Direct Arena opened in 2013 and has a capacity of 13,781. The area sits on a 1.5-acre site and has hosted performances by Sir Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Bublé, Prince, Miley Cyrus, Queen with Adam Lambert, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Bette Midler, Drake, Morrissey, The Eagles, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, and Mumford and Sons. It is designed so every seat faces the stage, and the maximum viewing distance is only 68 metres, compared to 95-130 at traditional arenas. 

The Royal Armouries Museum sits just outside of the city centre, and is the perfect spot to see part of the National Collection of Arms and Armour. It has collections centred around ancient and medieval warfare, hunting, tournament, self-defence. You’ll be able to see armour and weapons that date as far back as 1000BC.
