Rent a Memorial Stadium Parking Space
The Memorial Stadium was originally opened in 1921 and is dedicated to the memory of the local rugby union players of Bristol killed during the First World War. It was originally the home of Bristol Rugby Club until 2014, and has been the home ground of Bristol Rovers FC since 1996.
While there is some allocated parking for home and away fans at the Memorial Stadium, it can fill quickly meaning it is often considerably easier to pre-book your parking space to guarantee there is a space waiting for you on your arrival. Filton Abbey Wood Train Station is located roughly a 25-minute walk from the ground. However, Bristol Parkway is the main railway station and is located over two miles away, making it quite a trek.
If you are looking for food or drink before and after the match, there is a supporters’ bar at the ground. Alternatively, The Queen Vic and The Annexe Inn are both relatively close to the Memorial Stadium. There is also a wide variety of things to see and do in the city centre, including Bristol Aquarium, Clifton Suspension Bridge, and Brunel’s ss Great Britain.
