Information about Parking in Southampton
Southampton lies on the south coast of England, in the county of Hampshire. Its location has made it an important trading port throughout its history. It is perhaps best known for being the port that RMS Titanic sailed from in 1912. Around one-third of those who perished when the ship sank were from the city.
The SeaCity Museum opened in Southampton in 2012 to mark the centenary of the Titanic’s departure from the port. The museum houses an interactive exhibition exploring the ship’s sinking, as well a section about the rich maritime and migration history of the city.
The city’s southerly, low-lying and sheltered location makes it one of the warmest and sunniest cities in the UK. It holds the record for the highest temperature in the UK for June at 35.6 °C, so holidaymakers looking for sunshine flock to Southampton in the summer months.
With so much to attract visitors, it’s no wonder that parking in Southampton can be a challenge, and Southampton city centre car parks can be expensive.

Very easy to find with sat nav my only concern was where to actually park as there were so many spaces available and no indication as to what bays belonged to the company. Would easily recommend as pricing is very competitive even allowing for Taxi to the cruise terminalGeoffrey
Really close to the Red Funnel terninal (10 mins walk), just be careful if you just enter the postcode into your satnav as you will end up at the Mayflower Cruise Terminal!Rob
It was all fine in the end. It was the first time I had used the App and also the car park. The directions were good but the photo needs updating. The postcode covers quite a big area on West Quay Road and it took me a few minutes to locate the correct turning into the car park. However, the App provides a good service and I will use it again.Susan
Left my car over the weekend. I had no problems, was secure and well surveillanced! Only issue I did have is it's easy to find the hotel but parking is around the back and not so easy to find. Also on return my ferry was late and made me late collecting the car I spent at least 45 mins trying to get through to the hotel to make them away but absolutely no answer apart from that would recommendLianne
Plenty of spaces, satnav took us straight to it- no problem. Only downside is for cruisers is that it is the wrong side of a continuous port area fence. Parking seemed secure and easy to get onto the M271Paul
Only a 10 min walk to horizon terminal. Easy hassle free parking car was safeSarah
No problems with the car park - easy to find and felt safe leaving the car there. Convenient for the cruise terminal but if you are travelling from Ocean Terminal then bear in mind that it is a 25 minute walk.David
Great spot. Property owner was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!!Gary
easy to find, short walk to ferryJim
