  • Parking on George Byng Way (Ferry Port), PO2

It wasn't that clear how to enter the car park but once that was overcome the whole experience was great. I found a space very quickly and my car was happily waiting for me. However, not cheap can't they do better deals for long term.

  • Parking on George Byng Way (Ferry Port), PO2

Have used this car park plenty of times previously but booked via the Port website. Booking via this app saved me £3 a day which is lots if you’re there a week or so. Car park is easy to find, just follow the P signs on entrance to the port. I found a space on the ground floor. The port is a 5 minute walk away. On my return, which was late in the evening, the attendant seemed to be away so I rang the mobile number displayed and he appeared in seconds. I didn’t even need to give my booking reference as he already had a print out of my booking when I gave my name. Was out of the car park and on my way within 5 minutes. Great and quick service and booking via app is much cheaper than booking through the port site directly.

Great location for what we needed. Lots of spaces when we arrived. Would use again if we are down that way.

  • Parking on Holiday Inn Express Portsmouth North, PO6

Easy to find, plenty of parking spaces. I booked taxi via hotel reception, came within 5minutes to take us to the international ferry port which only took ten minute to get there and no luggage to carry!!! On our return, picked up a taxi outside the terminal building to take us back to the hotel. Thoroughly recommend this way to travel to France as foot passengers. A lot cheaper than using the car park at the ferry terminal, easy to book altogether a pleasant experience

Easy to find, convenient for the port (less than £10 taxi for one person). Very easy choice of spaces - tree cover can be avoided! Hotel staff helpful and knew of that non-resident parking would happen. ~10x cheaper than parking at the port. Recommended.
