The Odyssey is an independent Art Deco cinema with a rich history. Initially developed in the early 1900s, it was one of the first cinemas in Hertfordshire. It has undergone a turbulent past, and most recently was derelict for four years until 2014, when it opened its doors again by popular demand. It now shows a wide range of films, including new releases and classics, foreign language films and cult rep films. It also has two fully stocked bars that remain open during screenings.
