Information about parking in St Marys Stadium
St Mary’s stadium has been the home to Southampton FC since 2001, when they moved from The Dell stadium that had been there home since 1898. Southampton, often nicknamed the Saints because of their history as a church football club, won their first FA cup in 1976, and they returned to the Premier League in 2012, following 7 years in the second tier of English football.
The nearest train station to St Mary’s is Southampton and takes roughly half an hour to walk between the two. There is also a shuttle bus service from the station. There is very little parking located at the actual ground and therefore it is generally recommended to book your parking space in advance to ensure that a parking space is available upon your arrival.
The majority of pubs located near the stadium are reserved for home support, and therefore it is best to make the journey into the town centre, where there are a wide variety of pubs, bars, and restaurants for all the family. There are also a variety of family friendly attractions such as the Southampton City Art Gallery and Solent Sky Aviation Museum.

Really pleased when we arrived at Byron Court. As advertised, secure, cctv and very easy directions. We parked up and it took us 7 minutes if that to walk to the rear of the Mayflower to catch a coach to London to see Guns N Roses. We highly recommend this space at Byron Court for anyone wanting a very convenient, safe, cheap and easy way of spending time in Southampton like going to the Mayflower for a show or just shopping or what we did a trip to London. Will use again and will highly recommend to friends. Thank you "YourParkingSpace" and Mario. Mr & Mrs CastleGregory
Booked this space to attend an event at the football ground, easy to find and a short stroll to the event. Would use again.Anita
Close to ferry terminal which was very convenient. Was slightly concerned about the fact that the permit was still being applied for, so left the email confirmation on the dashboard. No actual allocated space. Liked the idea of YourParking Space, and found it easy to use. Would use again.Isabella
First class service, we left our car on the drive which had cctv cameras. We did not have to leave our car keys. We were taken & picked up from the port for a small fee which took 10 minutes. We were made to feel very welcome and offered refreshments on arrival and departure. The drive owner was a friendly, helpful young and nothing was to much trouble. We were very impressed by the service we would defiantly book again and recommend to friends & family...Irene
The system worked well. Unfortunately, the space I needed to use was not marked, so I parked anywhere behind the flats.Stella
Car parked in no.29 but we rang owner who found us another bay to park in so all good. A 25 minute walk to St Mary's and felt safe leaving car. Many thanks.Ingrid
Easy to find. Looks quite secure. No problems at all. 30 minute walk or £6 in a taxi to the dock.James
Ideally located for Ageas Bowl. Easy to find and leave from after major match. Friendly owner. Plenty of room on drive.Andrew
Located perfectly for the Ageas bowl. Outside all the local road closures and diversions, easy access for the M27 to Portsmouth making getting away after a match nice and simple. Owner was courteous and professional, sending regular text messages to update on the parking and offering assistance. Will happily use again.Matthew
Adrian was a lovely man very helpful and gave us a lift to and from the docks. Would definitely book this space again. 5out of 5Sharon
