Parking at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
Access to the main Aberdeen Royal Infirmary parking area is only for blue badge holders, outpatients with valid appointments, dropping off and picking up patients, emergency vehicles, and staff.
Patients must show their appointment letter to the attendant at the barrier, and must only park within areas marked for patient use. Because the car parks are so busy, the hospital does ask that you don’t park in the car park for your whole stay if you can avoid it. If you have to use the park for the duration of your stay, please let ward staff know so that they can inform parking staff. For long-term or frequent patients, there are specific parking bays available.
Visitors cannot park at the main hospital site from 6:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
The Lady Helen Parking Centre is only for patients and visitors to use. The car park uses barriers and an automatic number plate recognition. Hospital staff monitor the facility to ensure that only genuine visitors to the hospital are using the car park.
There are also drop-off/collection zones where you can park for up to 30 minutes at a time. These are found near the main entrance and at the revolving door entrance.
There is no charge for parking at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
