Entry is free into the Edinburgh botanic gardens and all areas except the 10 glasshouses can be explored freely. Within the houses are well over 2,400 plants which originate from multiple countries, landscapes include the Amazon rainforest, Australian forest and Arabian deserts.

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, offers a limit of six blue badge disabled parking bays, these are found to the left of the West Gate entrance on Arboretum Place. Parking is free for those who use these bays and display their blue badges.
