Information about Parking in Norwich
Choose your Norwich parking space from our range of options. For stress-free parking, just park with us.
From the Middle Ages until the Industrial Revolution, Norwich was the largest city in England after London. Nowadays, it is a popular tourist destination and one of the UK’s top ten shopping spots. Visitors are drawn by the annual Norfolk and Norwich Arts Festival and by the city’s wealth of historical architecture.
With so much to see and do, it’s no wonder that parking in Norwich is in high demand. There are several Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) across the city, especially in areas with a high demand for on-street parking, including the city centre and areas near the University of East Anglia and the City College. In CPZs, there is no unrestricted parking: each space is designated for a particular purpose. The restrictions and charges differ across the city depending on the requirements of the locality, and spots can be hard to find. Although there is also the option of an off-street or multi-storey car park in Norwich, these tend to be quite pricey.

Nearby Attractions
Norwich is a great city in which to spend a long weekend. It is the most complete medieval city in the UK, with old cobbled streets, and more medieval churches still standing than in any other city north of the Alps. The Adam and Eve pub is believed to be the oldest pub in the city, and it is well worth a visit.
If you’re planning a city break to Norwich, make sure you don’t leave the following popular tourist spots off your itinerary:
- Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery
- Norwich Cathedral
- Plantation Garden
- The Forum
However, Norwich is not just about the urban landscape. It is the only English city that is actually inside a National Park. The Broads National Park is a network of navigable rivers and lakes. It is a beloved boating holiday destination, and there are plenty of boat rental companies to choose from in Norwich and the surrounding area.
Search, book and park with YourParkingSpace to reserve fantastic Norwich parking within walking distance of all your favourite attractions.
