Valet parking is located next to Car Park 3, a one minute walk from the airport. With Valet Parking a member of staff will park your car on-site in a Park Mark Safter Parking accredited car park, and on your return, your car will be ready for collection. Car Park 1, 2 and 3 are also are on-site multistorey car parks which are adjacent to the terminal building, and are a one minute walk away from the terminal.  Car Park 4 is a 3-5 minute walk from the terminal building, while Car Park 5 is a 5-10 minute walk from the terminal building. All of these car parks are Mark Park Safer Parking accredited car parks. Car Park 7 operates with a 5-10 minute free courtesy shuttle bus.

Car Parks 1,2 or 3 are available for picking up passengers. They’re located near the arrivals area and offer short term parking that is convenient for pick-ups. There is also a 30-minute parking band in multi-storey car parks which costs £4.50 which is a good option if you are picking up passengers from the airport.

Car

Birmingham is at the centre of the UK motorway network, meaning many parts of the UK are within a 2h drive of the airport. Birmingham Airport parking can be accessed easily from the M42 at Junction 6 where you follow the signs along the A45 to the airport.

Train

Birmingham Airport is connected to Birmingham International Station by a free Air Rail link system which takes just two minutes’ transfer time. 

Bus

Three National Express bus services operate the Airport connecting it with central Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Timetables can be accessed via Network West Midlands. Tickets can be purchased on the bus services. There are also many long-distance coach services which are operated by National Express and Megabus.

Taxi

Taxis are available 24hours a day every day of the year from directly outside the arrivals area of the terminal building. This is operated by Arrow Cars and Licensed Black Cabs.

At Birmingham Airport the EV charging points are located within the Premium Set Down car park and are available to use with the parking charge discounted to £2 for the first hour, with normal charges applying after this time period. 

Disabled parking at Birmingham Airport allows Blue Badge Holders to park in designated spaces and at a reduced rate.

Blue Badge holders are entitled to up to 60 minutes free parking within the Premium Set Down car park. You must show your Blue Badge and car parking ticket at the NCP Customer Service Desk located in the Meet and Greet Cabin. Take care as normal charges apply if the 60 minutes is exceeded.

Disabled parking is also available in Car Parks 1, 2, 5 and the Drop and Go Car Park. Car parking is charged at the normal rates for these car parks, and The Blue Badge scheme does not operate within the Airport site.
