  • Parking on Military Rd, CO1

Easy to find the address with satnav (I drove past it first time but took the next left to go around the block which was easy, through residential streets of permit-parking). A sharpish turn into the driveway which is well-maintained and tidy, going through quite a narrow brick archway (I have an old-style Honda HRV about the size of an Astra/Golf etc and felt I needed to be fairly careful to get through the archway. Bricked-over rear garden has 4 parking spaces marked with coloured bricks, manoevring was easy as it was completely empty at 8.15am and again at 2pm when I left. Didn't need to speak to the owner, and the price was very reasonable for a day's parking. It was about 15 minutes gentle walking (no hills) to Barrack Street and my destination of the Wilson Marriage Centre/ACL.

Felt very secure. 24 hour access to car. We were catching Harwich ferry to Holland for a cycling tour, ferry is an easy 20 mins walk or a few mins cycle from parking space.

  • Parking on Campion Road, IP2

The parking space was double booked and we had to leave our car on the road. The landlord refunded our money but this spoiled what should have been a special day with concern over the safety of our car.

I used the driveway instead of the City centre car parks when attending Portman Road when Lincoln City played Ipswich in the FA cup. It was a shortish walk to the ground and we got on the road quickly after the game. #Impvasion

Quiet road, easy to find. Didn't have any contact with the owner as it wasn't necessary. Short walk into the centre of town
