If you’re using the overnight parking, you must arrive after 6pm and leave before 8am. 

Cinema customers will receive 4 hours of free parking when they purchase tickets, all you need to do is log your vehicle registration in the consoles provided. McDonald’s and KFC customers will receive 1 hour of free parking when using the parking bays provided for them.

The Buttermarket Centre is a 10-minute walk from Cardinal Park, and has a cinema, laser tag, ten-pin bowling, and a gym. It also has a wide range of shopping and food options. 

Christchurch Park is a local favourite, with 33 hectares of greenery for you to explore. It opened in 1895, then was re-opened in 2008 after a £4.5 million restoration project. Here, you’ll find a playground, tennis courts, bowling greens, public toilets, and a visitor and education centre. It hosts nature walks and arts and crafts activities, plus events like the Ipswich Music Day and the Remembrance Day ceremony. Next to the park, you’ll find Christchurch Mansion, which was built in around 1550 and has been a museum since 1885. There, you can see the biggest collection of Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable paintings outside of London. 

St Margaret's Church is a Grade 1 listed building and was built in around 1300. The church hosts baptisms, marriages and funerals, and has a memorial for those who died in the First World War. You can visit the church on most days of the week, and there are also guided tours offered each month.

By Train: The Ipswich train station is a 6-minute walk from Cardinal Park and services the greater Anglia line. 

By Bus: There are several bus lines that run past Cardinal Park, with the Cardinal Park Cinema servicing lines 13 and 15A. Other lines that run nearby include 3, 12, 13, 14, 15A, 16, 91, 92, 93, 93A, 97, 98, 113, 114, 115 and 118.  

By Car: Ipswich is 1 hour 40 minute’s drive along the A12 from London.
