For patients and visitors visiting the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Intensive Care Unit, and the High Dependency Unit, you may be eligible for a permit for free parking. If you’re receiving cancer treatment, haematology treatment, or renal treatment and will be visiting the hospital more than 4 times in one month or for a period of treatment longer than 3 months, you will also be eligible for free parking. You will also be eligible for free parking in the case of bereavement.
The hospital travel cost scheme allows you to reclaim the travelling costs of getting to the hospital if you are on a certain benefit, have a valid exemption card, or an HC2 form. Talk to someone in the General/Cashiers Office in the Chalmers Keddie Building to arrange this.
