Hampden Park has been the national stadium of football in Scotland since 1906. It has also been the home to Queen’s Park Football Club since 1903. Queen’s Park FC are the only fully amateur club in the Scottish Professional Football League and as of 2016 are the third most successful club in the Scottish Cup, despite not winning since 1893. Hampden Park is also renowned for the Hampden Roar a noise so load that it has been reported to be heard a mile from the stadium.
Both Mount Florida and Kings Park are located relatively close to the ground and have services running to Glasgow Central. With a capacity of over 50,000 people these stations can be very busy. Parking is available at the ground but it can be much easier and quicker to book your parking space in advance. This can also save you a considerable amount of money and can make getting to and away from the stadium much easier.
If you are looking for food or drink before or after the match it is probably easier to visit the city centre, where you will find a great number of venues to suit everyone. There are also some fantastic attractions to visit in Glasgow city centre, including Glasgow Science Centre, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and The Peoples Palace & Winter Gardens that explores Glasgow’s industrial past.

No problems. A good parking space easily located. Pleasant service from the Hotel desk.Peter
Convenient car parking relatively close to the city centre, but far enough out to be considered more secure than those right in the city hub if you require overnight parking. Individual spaces gave plenty of room and I found the cost for two days parking very reasonable. It is a place I will certainly consider using again.James
Car park well sign posted. Easy to get in and staff on reception helpfulDavid
Excellent and very affordable parking. Being a student at the City Of Glasgow College it is the absolute ideal parking and closest to the campus. Lots of space and would highly recommend. Only negative is the spaces have all but vanished due to wear and tear. Could use a paint job so you can see the bays clearly again. It's some what difficult to park when you can't see any lines for the bays. So overall I would rate it a 4 star however should they respray the bays then it's 100% a 5 star.Luke
A great safe place to park. The location and photo send you to the wrong side of the hotel which can be a bit confusing. The car park is placed over the road to the left when looking at the reception door of the hotel. Other than that it was fine, nice and secure with code entry/exit doors.Ingrid
Parked here on 2 January as I was working and figured it would be quiet. It was, got parked no bother but the ground is terrible - full of pot holes which is why it lost a star. Wouldn't park here day to day but for £3 at new year,I can't complain.Stephanie
Plenty of spaces on the lower basement floor when we arrived. Went up in lift and through the hotel reception. When we were leaving the ticket was validated in less than a minute and we were on our way. £7.50 for 24hrs was great value, will use again.Stewart
